I believe when I'm plugged in and connected and art just flows, that is a direct line from a higher source, God, Budda, Jesus , ect. Whatever you want to call it, I believe its just coming thru us and using us as instruments. Listening to you for years just soothes me and our teenaged children love your music too. Something great than me or you wants us to keep going...........

Wednesday morning, 3 A.M! Lyrics like no other person writes: In the clearing stands a boxer and a fighter by his trade.... Til he cried out in his anger and his shame, "I am leaving, I am leaving," but the fighter still remains.... All my words come back to me in shades of mediocrity... Tell her to reap it in a sickle of leather... People talking without speaking, people hearing without listening... Don't know a dream that's not been shattered or driven to its knees...

He looks like Mike Bloomberg now. You ever see the photo of him in court when him and his wife got into a fight? He looked EXACTLY like Mike Bloomberg. Look........www.billboard.com/files/styles/article_main_image/public/media/paul-simon-edie-brickell-court-2014-billboard-650.jpg

Who's the babe? Mercedes Mason...who admitted elsewhere in the show she has forgotten how to speak Swedish. Although born there and living in America, she is Persian[iranian] by birth.

What Simon is trying to say....Beatles was that periode....Simon and Art Garthfunkel took it further on....much better, if you ask me :-)

Simon and Garfunkle were much better class of music than the beatles. The beatles were popularized by the young hysterical masses not particularly interested in a deep message or purpose. Yah, yah, yah.

Kind of a dumb question: As rational and spiritual, should not have to be seen as antithetical to one another.

jimmie999999999 : You favorite way of listening music is possibly outdated but music itself is definitely not dead. People listen music for 2.5 hours per day in average.

Melody with instruments are music. Words are just an accompaniment.....Hence why today's music like rap are not real music. Its words/poetry (usually bad poetry) first in rap type form with a monotonous beat and 2 cords. Its says a lot about what happened to our culture as a whole...........we exchanged the good for the bad..........When people like the Paul`s are gone we will be left with nothing.....
